Sorority Sister Who Sent Berserk E-Mail Is Back As Female Bro

The literary and journalistic potential in the University of Maryland’s “Deranged Sorority Girl” emailer was immediately apparent. “Someone get this lady a blog,” Maureen O’Connor wrote. And, lo, someone did. But not, it turns out, a lady blog. Former Delta Gamma Rebecca Martinson published her first column yesterday on The Bro Bible, a blog devoted to frat bro culture, and perhaps a more logical home for the woman who once wrote, “Newsflash, you stupid cocks.” Having written the book on the importance of not being "so fucking BORING," she now takes on “Getting a Guy to Text You the Morning After.”

Martinson boldly sticks a fork in the old “three-day rule.”  The cause of death? Alcohol-induced memory loss. She writes:

Another archaic rule of three, however, endures. The three-date rule.

I hope the next installment is “Cunt-Punting 101.”

‘Do Female Astronauts Wear Bras in Space?’

Socratic social network Quora recently questioned the effect of zero gravity on breasts. Faced with the slightly rude query, "Do female astronauts wear bras in space?" NASA astronaut trainer Robert Frost cited physics: "Even though there is no noticeable pull from gravity, there is still inertia. So while they are running on the treadmill, their rib cage is constantly changing its direction of motion and other more delicate parts are resisting those changes." Thus, sports bras. Now you know.

Fox News&#8217 Megyn Kelly Defends Female Breadwinners Against Network Creeps

Megyn Kelly had Lou Dobbs and Erick Erickson on America Live today, to hold them accountable for yesterday’s bizarre and hysterical panel on the rise of female breadwinners, from which women were conspicuously absent. Unfortunately, her follow-up kind of takes the fun out of it. Dobbs calls Kelly “Oh Dominant One,” and accuses her of calling on Erickson (whose biological defense of traditional gender roles Kelly capably debunks) because “he’s more fun.” Is this what TV people mean by "chemistry"? Is it supposed to make your flesh crawl? Meanwhile, Kelly’s lovely point about the historical role of so-called scientific evidence in discrimination against biracial couples goes basically unacknowledged. Free Megyn!

Watch Fox News Panic Over the Rise of Female Breadwinners

Ugh. Who told Fox News that 40% of primary breadwinners in families with children are now women? This kind of stuff terrifies Lou Dobbs and his male colleagues, leaving them panicked and histrionic, free-associating apocalyptic clichés.

Weighing on the Pew Research Poll last night, Juan Williams said the rise of female breadwinners means there’s “something going terribly wrong in American society and it’s hurting our children.”

“Those are the children who survive,” Dobbs replied. “54 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. What has been the impact? What does it say about our society? High school drop outs...”

Next, Erik Erickson said that encouraging female breadwinners is like denying climate change:

Doug Schoen concluded: “We’re losing a generation. Bottom line, it could undermine our social order.”

At least Fox spared itself the hypocrisy of including one of its many, popular female anchors and correspondents in the debate.
