Been aching to find out what Sony's PlayStation 4 actually looks like? So have we. Fortunately, Engadget's Ben Gilbert and Joystiq's Alexander Sliwinski are right outside of the company's E3 press event, happily speculating on the box's potential shape -- not to mention what games we might see for it today. Head past the break to hear the pair's predictions for the show -- and of course, you can always follow along on our liveblog when they're finished.

Update: And that's a wrap! We'll update this post later with an archived video of the stream.

If You Must Cheat, Cheat Quietly

Late last week, a Pennsylvania woman made the national news after the Facebook post in which she outed a cheating braggart and/or liar went viral. "If this is your husband, I have endured a 2 hour train ride from Philadelphia listening to this loser and his friends brag about their multiple affairs and how their wives are too stupid to catch on. Oh please repost ... " she wrote along side a cell phone photo of the man, which has been shared at least 183,000 times.

Her story has been compared to that of Silicon Valley dongle joke victim Adria Richards, as kind of a parable about social media. Twitter and Facebook are now used “to enforce behavior in public and semi-public spaces in a way it never was before,” Salon’s Anna North wrote. But just what behavior are we enforcing?

It's not the infidelity that got the Facebook marriage vigilante so worked up. It's the incivility of talking about it, loudly and at length, on a train, where everyone is trapped with one another for hours — a classic, but trivial, etiquette dilemma. “I just thought he was a pig,” she told Salon. “I was just so fed up with the two-hour train ride and listening to this person be so vulgar.”

Similarly — and even though an astonishing number of people were fired over donglegate — Richards explained that it wasn't the content of the nerd-sexual jokes that was offensive.  It was the sense that, by making them at a programming conference, the dudes sitting behind her were gleefully making their industry (even more) inhospitable toward women. I like to think that if there had been smart phones in 1996, I would have tweeted a photo of the guy one row in front of me at a Yankees game, whose "jokes" seared a new connotation of the verbs "to spit" and "to swallow" on my elementary school brain.

In short, if you must cheat on your wife, make puerile jokes about it, and generally act boorish, leave it in your basement rec room and Facebook chat. Not just because you'll get caught. If you feel the need to colonize your entire environment with it, you deserve to get caught. And if you don’t trust yourself not to, there's always the Quiet Car.

Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 coming to PS4

When Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura made a cameo at Sony's E3 press conference, we expected to hear an update on Final Fantasy Versus XIII -- we were wrong, but not disappointed. Instead of the heavily anticipated spinoff, Nomura revealed Final Fantasy XV to the world, promising the title for the PlayStation 4. It was hard to tell from the action packed trailer, but XV seems to to be a departure from the series' traditional turn-based combat, looking more to us like an action title than an RPG. Speaking of highly anticipated Square-Enix titles that eschew the RPG norm, Nomura followed the announcement with a trailer for Kingdom Hearts III. Unfortunately, neither title was given a specific release date, only the promise that both of them could be enjoyed on the PlayStation 4. Eh, we'll take it.

Of course our liveblog is the place to be, but you can also stream the video on this page (embedded after the break) or directly through your PS3. After the PlayStation 4 console stayed hidden backstage at its own preview event we're expecting to hear (and see) a lot more this time around, so get ready -- it's almost time to go.

Sony announces Driveclub free to PS Plus members for a year

Sony's feeling pretty unstoppable right now, and it's adding to the momentum by announcing that the PlayStation Plus edition of Driveclub will be free for the first year to Plus members. The game, which was announced alongside a litany of other PS4 titles in February, is a team-based driving game that features realistic vehicles modeled after their real-life counterparts. Sony PlayStation 4 price $399

Sony has finally revealed release information about its PlayStation 4 console including that it plays used, lent or rented games with no restrictions and its price: $399. That translates to 399 euros, and 349 pounds where applicable, or if you missed it, $100, 100 euros and 70 pounds less less than what Microsoft just announced for the Xbox One. There's no specific release date or month yet, just "this holiday season" in the US and Europe.

So, has your decision been made any easier? Pre-orders are open now.

Ad Age Notes Which ‘Women to Watch’ Wear Pants

Ad Age’s annual "Women to Watch" list comes with a key to help you quickly identify which of the women honored (a) have a child, (b) own a fish, (c) have a dog, (e) have traveled the world, (f) have worked for an agency, or (g) often wear pants. Needless to say, listicles of male CEOs don't usually consider a daddy badge relevant. But pants? (Or are those jeans?) I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to glean from that information. Does it denote her dedication to casual Fridays? Is it a metaphor for her marital dynamic? Does the advertising industry secretly adhere to unspoken dress code of the Mormon church? It's nothing against the nominees, who include Lucky editor turned Target exec Gigi Guerra (improbably, she did not get a pants badge). Read about her and other radical, trouser-wearing broads at Ad Age.
