Swifties, Taylor Has a Fragrance Video for You

Directioners and Beliebers have been counting down until they can complete their transformations into the ultimate fans by spritzing down their bodies with soon-to-be-released grapefruit or vanilla-tinged scents, respectively. Now it appears that Tay's girls and boys will also have the chance to join in on the smelly fun with her newest fragrance, Taylor.

The crooner, being the shrewd businesswoman that she is, decided to one-up the boys with a two-part video, dedicated to her relentless fan army. In the video above, the dynamic Swift accomplishes the following activities in just 30 seconds: Plays with sparklers, sways from an indoor swing without abandon, reads (and laughs) in an empty bathtub, sprays her new scent with a scrunched-up face, writes her name (plus heart!) on a chalkboard, poses for a few Polaroid snapshots in a fedora, and sunbathes in the backseat of a car as her arms reach up to the heavens. Whew. In the background, of course, is the sound of her own warbling voice ("Starlight," from her RED album, to be exact). The perfume, with its crystal bottle and dazzling pearly orb, is available now. And to borrow the words of the songstress, "Three, two, one, go!"

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 review: one giant smartphone for mankind

Godzilla, Frankenstein's monster and Bigfoot are mythical creatures that don't exist. But now, an equally beastly smartphone -- one seemingly designed specifically for them -- is available to buy. The Samsung Galaxy Mega is a respectable mid-range device, but it's too large for anyone who wants to sometimes use their phone one-handed. Read on for more.

14-inch Razer Blade gaming laptop review: smaller, faster, lighter

Razer's 14-inch Blade is almost everything we wanted out of the company's first gaming laptop: a smaller, less-expensive machine with longer battery life, more power and a shockingly attractive chassis. These elements lift the machine's stature, defining it not only as a solid gaming machine, but also as a great Windows laptop in general. It's an enthusiast laptop, yes, but one we'd feel comfortable recommending to non-gamers, too. Click the link above for our full review.

America's most sustainable city: A green dream deferred

It sounds like the future. Whirring electric skateboards, the joyous chatter of children in a distant playground and an unusual absence of petrol-powered machinery. It looks like the future, too. Read on as Darren Murph investigates Babcock Ranch, America's most sustainable city.

Into the heart of CERN: an undergound tour of the Large Hadron Collider (video)

I've been to see ALICE -- though there was no looking glass to jump through, just a retina scanner and one very long elevator ride down into the earth. I've toured a CMS that has nothing to do with online publishing. I've even gently laid my body on the most powerful particle accelerator in the world. I did all of this at CERN, the international particle physics laboratory located near Geneva, Switzerland.

Virtuix Omni gaming treadmill demoed with Minecraft in multiplayer mode

Remember that gaming treadmill that we sweated all over during E3 last month? Virtuix's Kickstarted Omni is still firmly in the prototype stage, but that's not stopping the company from putting the gigantic peripheral through its special-shoe-requiring paces. CEO Jan Goetgeluk headed to the machine shop where the first Omni was built to demo some multiplayer gaming. And what better title to try things out than with a little Minecraft? If the below video is any indication, things went relatively smoothly. Says the exec, "even though the Minecraft graphics seem unsuited for VR, the game is actually a blast with Rift and Omni." Who needs the gym?

Virgin America is often the domestic airline leading the way in in-flight entertainment, but Southwest Airlines is doing its best to keep up with Sir Richard Branson's stateside flight outfit. Earlier in the year, Southwest rolled out pay TV and on-demand video in many of its aircraft. Today, the airline announced a partnership with Dish network to bring free satellite TV to passengers' mobile devices on its 400 Wi-Fi equipped planes. Why the shift to a gratis service? Dish decided that ponying up the necessary dough was worth it for the branding it'll receive as a part of the new deal. So, go forth, friends and fly Southwest's friendly skies -- assuming the free TV is enough to entice you to brave its first-come-first-served seating methods.

Up Close on Couture: Giambattista, Chanel, and More

Haute couture is all about the details and execution of the most improbably beautiful clothes in the world, of which there was plenty to pore over so far. Yesterday, Giambattista Valli presented a collection that appealed to the princess in all of us with a parade of cocktail dresses, the most stunning of which featured a sky-blue silk gazar skirt almost shirred in an all-over style to reveal a crystal-embellished taffeta silk skirt beneath. There were also raw silk chiffon blossoms found on the shoulders of evening gowns. Sometimes they completely covered a bodice; other times they seemed windswept in a cascade along a gown's train.

At Chanel, one look stood out with its metallic mirror embroidery, but what caught our eye were the tiny rings worn along the knuckles of each finger. Over at Alexis Mabille, it was taffeta silk capes that were most memorable. Click ahead to see all that and more.

Wish List: Mary Katrantzou’s Sarbour Blush Coat

With its high-definition landscape of some far-flung world, Mary Katrantzou's cotton and silk coat makes an offbeat statement; its simple bracelet sleeves, hidden slip pockets, and a collarless front make for a piece that seems more art-on-canvas than coat. Wear it with blush tones, bright fuschia, pale pastels, or just simple blacks for a strong update on classic outerwear.
